The Wigan St. Helens and District Branch Originated from a meeting of 25 former Grenadiers under the Chairmanship of Capt. A. Angus a Vice President of the Liverpool branch of the Association held in the Royal British Legion Club in Upper Dicconson St. Wigan, from this meeting the branch was founded in 1974 as a sub branch of the Liverpool branch. The Branch holds its meetings at 8.30pm the last Tuesday in every month December excepted, at the Royal British Legion Club Upper Dicconson St. Wigan which is central to the area covered by the branch covering East Merseyside, West Greater Manchester, North Cheshire and the Fylde coast.
Membership
is open to serving or former Grenadiers and serving or former
members of other Regiments of the Household Division. Contact
