Joined at pirbright camp, got to know the sandhill very well and
the Golden acre Piggy Barnes was the RSM , on the ranges u got
to know were u was being posted to from Polly Perkins. Got sent
to Hong Kong for a few weeks just help the Bn pack up and come
home; was then on rear party for xmas while they went on leave,
as soon as they came back got posted to the 2nd Bn from there it
was to Sudan, for 6 weeks then to the Uk for public duties
before being posted to Kanya for 6 weeks. Also did tours of NI
Londondery and Fermanagh, Germany, UN Cyprus and Canada. So I
did some time in the 1st Bn but most was spent in the 2nd Bn,
played football for the Bn and athletics for the Bn

: I now live in Lowton Nr
Leigh Warrington Cheshire with my good lady wife Amanda, I work
as a prison officer at HMP Manchester which I have done for
about 16yrs
